I love the delicate coloring of this flower. It looks like something that could even be found on a coral reef. I have been using my cell phone for macro work, but as I develop my style it is becoming more and more clear, that I really need to invest in the right equipment!
Have you ever noticed people’s feet? There is so much you can learn by what they wear, how they stand, were they stand in relation to others, how close or far apart. Makes you wonder, just what is the story with these people?
I need to make a selfie to submit to NatGeo for the new contest this month. It is a real stretch for me to have my picture taken, let alone to take my own picture. What I need is feedback, on whether this is working or not. What I like is the fact that I am in this photo three times, that it is in B & W. What I am struggling with is that the camera is visible. What is your take??
This tulip was found in a planter in the Downtown Mall. I really like that the petals have so much green in them, and the crisp kale in the background. All part of a photographic spree I went on about three weeks ago that landed about one hundred photos that I am still sorting through and deciding what works and what needs to go.
I am not sure how I feel about this one. I really liked the tree, and waited a long time for a gentleman to move out of the way so I could take a picture. But I just could not seem to be happy with my results. Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you can’t force something to work, and that’s ok too!
A friend of mine and I were having a glass of wine after a long day. As he was holding out the glass, I noticed the reflection, hold still, I need to take a picture!
I have no idea what kind of tree this is, but crossed the street in a pretty industrial area to get closer. The blooms don’t last long, but are beautiful when you drive by, always thinking, I need to take a picture of that!
